Job Title: Cook + Helper
Bhasker Memorial School is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook + Helper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students and staff, as well as ensuring that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare nutritious meals in accordance with the school's menu and dietary requirements
Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area
Monitor and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies
Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances in good working order
Assist with the setup and cleanup of the dining area before and after meal times
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience working as a cook or kitchen helper, preferably in a school or institutional setting
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
